Customer Experiences

Feedback from users across Canada

"I've been using the Urban Glide X1 for my daily 5km commute to work for three months. It's reliable and the battery holds up well even in cooler weather. The folding mechanism makes it easy to store under my desk."

Michael Chen
Vancouver, BC

"As a university student, the scooter has been practical for getting between campus buildings. The LED display is clear and shows battery status accurately. I appreciate the straightforward design without unnecessary features."

Sarah Johnson
Toronto, ON

"The TerraRide Pro handles the mixed surfaces in my neighborhood well. I've used it on both sidewalks and park paths without issues. The larger tires provide good stability, which was my main concern when researching options."

David Martinez
Calgary, AB

"I bought the HoverGo Balance for short trips around my apartment complex. The self-balancing works as described and it's compact enough to carry when needed. Battery life matches the stated specifications."

Emma Thompson
Montreal, QC

"The customer service team was helpful when I had questions about maintenance. The scooter itself has performed consistently over six months of regular use. I've had no major issues and the brakes work effectively."

James Park
Ottawa, ON

"Good value for a daily commuter scooter. The range is sufficient for my needs and charging time is reasonable. Build quality feels solid and it has held up well to regular use on city streets."

Lisa Anderson
Edmonton, AB

Rider Safety Equipment

Safety & Responsible Riding

We emphasize responsible use of electric mobility devices. All riders should follow local regulations, wear appropriate protective equipment, and operate devices within their skill level.

Protective Equipment

Helmets are recommended for all riders. Consider additional protective gear such as wrist guards and knee pads, especially when learning.

Local Regulations

Check your municipality's bylaws regarding electric personal mobility devices. Rules vary by province and city regarding where these devices can be operated.

Rider Responsibility

Maintain awareness of surroundings, ride at safe speeds for conditions, and ensure your device is in proper working order before each use.

Read Safety Guidelines

Maintenance & Care

Basic maintenance practices to extend product lifespan

Battery Care

Store batteries at 40-60% charge for extended periods. Avoid complete discharge cycles and charge in temperatures between 10-30°C for optimal battery health.

Check: Monthly

Mechanical Inspection

Regularly inspect folding mechanisms, handlebar tightness, and wheel attachments. Check brake function before each ride and adjust as needed.

Check: Weekly

Cleaning & Storage

Wipe down with a damp cloth. Do not pressure wash or submerge. Store in dry conditions away from extreme temperatures. Cover when stored outdoors.

Clean: As needed

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our products and services

Range depends on multiple factors including rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, and riding style. The stated ranges (18-35 km) represent optimal conditions with a 70kg rider on flat surfaces at moderate speeds. Expect 15-25% less range in cold weather or with heavier riders. Using higher speed modes and frequent acceleration will reduce range.

Regulations vary significantly by province and municipality in Canada. Some cities allow electric scooters on bike lanes and paths, others restrict them to private property. Before purchasing, check with your local bylaw office or municipality website. We recommend verifying local rules regarding maximum speed limits, where devices can be ridden, and whether licenses or registration are required.

Lithium-ion batteries generally maintain 70-80% of their original capacity after 300-500 full charge cycles. With proper care (avoiding extreme temperatures, not storing fully charged for long periods, avoiding complete discharge), users typically get 2-3 years of regular use before noticing significant capacity reduction. Battery replacement service is available through our support team.

While our products can function in cool temperatures, we do not recommend use in winter conditions with ice or snow. Battery performance decreases in cold weather, and icy surfaces pose safety risks. The TerraRide Pro has better traction than other models, but none are designed for winter operation. Store batteries indoors during winter months and allow them to warm to room temperature before charging.

Basic maintenance includes regular brake checks, tire pressure verification (for pneumatic tires), and periodic bolt tightening. Keep the unit clean and dry. Battery maintenance involves proper charging habits and storage practices. Check for loose components before each ride. More detailed maintenance procedures are outlined in the product manual and our maintenance guide article. Most users can handle routine maintenance themselves.

Products come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This includes the frame, motor, and electronic components. The warranty does not cover normal wear items (tires, brake pads), damage from misuse or accidents, or issues resulting from improper maintenance. Battery capacity degradation through normal use is not covered, but manufacturing defects in the battery are covered during the warranty period.
